A parked domain name is one that's taken, yet it is not linked to any other service - web or e-mail hosting. To put it differently, this type of domain address will not load any actual content in case you type it inside a web browser, but nobody can take it as you have already registered it and you are its owner. The best thing about getting a domain name and parking it afterwards is that you will be able to keep it and not worry that someone else might register it meanwhile if, for instance, the site for it is not ready yet. You are able to set a short-term Under Construction page for a parked Internet domain while you're working on your site, or forward it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be employed if you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, in order to protect a brand name or a trademark. In such a case, the .net and .org domains can be parked and forwarded to the .com since you don't need different sites for them.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

With each and every website hosting package that we offer you can park as many domain names as you wish and in contrast to other companies, we do not have any fees for that. Naturally, you can do this just for domains that are registered through us since parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, but not through the host unless you have the two services with only one company. We have got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can quickly park and un-park domain addresses, choose one of the templates we provide and add custom text to it, or forward a domain address to a URL of your choice. If you host a parked domain address, our system will modify its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters and see only the parked or only the hosted domain names, that will allow you to control them easy and fast.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

When you purchase a semi-dedicated server plan from us, you will be able to register and park as many domain addresses as you wish. In contrast to other providers, we will not charge you an additional fee for this feature. You can park a domain name with just a couple of mouse clicks using the Domain Manager tool, which you can access from the Hepsia web hosting Control Panel. If you choose to use a template, you're going to have a few different ones to select from and you will be able to add custom text to each of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager allows you to set filters to see only the hosted or only the parked domains in your account. Using the same tool, you can also un-park a domain and host it inside your account with just a click. Our system will change the name servers of the domain name and will create its folder inside the File Manager section, and the needed DNS records for it, automatically.
